Time really flies, Jayden will be in Primary One next year. Me, being a mummy, got to find a good school around my area and near to nanny's house.
Being a FTWM, a lot of things are really Cons and can't think of any Pros. My cousin's hubby might be able to get Jayden into ACS but a lot of things to be considered.
For the first 3 years, definitely there will not be any problem in transportation as he can take school bus. How about when he is in Primary 4!!!!! Have to attend CCA, tuition in school, excursion etc. Who is going to send him back after that??? Me being a full time working mum, will not be able to go to school and wait till everything ended. Even he is able to travel alone. It will cost him lots of time and that will make him more tired... Haiz...
Now we had decided... A nearby school is still a better, or we should say ONLY, choice for us. It will save him lots of traveling time back from school.
Being a kaisu mum, research on the information of the few schools around Bukit Panjang. Going thru the results obtained from their students, their CCA's achievements and etc. Doing these researches are worthwhile cause this will ensure he get into a better school...
As Jayden will be in Nanny's place before/after school, all he need is a 10mins traveling time in school bus to/from school. So if he has CCA or other activities when he is older, going back to Nanny's place is just 10-15mins walk.
So now we just hope that the school we chosen need not go thru balloting for Children living within 1 km!!!
